Richard later attended Lane Community College's Massage Therapy Program and was licensed in 2003. His program was an intensive 550-hour course that focused on the Swedish style of massage and body work. Much emphasis was also placed on Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Myofascial therapies. In addition, as a student of massage Richard became well-rounded in the subjects of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, communications, and ethics.
